CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our Gas Team in Norwell, MA, where you will support the planning, design, and improvement of critical gas infrastructure. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship from seasoned engineers, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills while making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.
What You'll Do:
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for crucial transmission and distribution infrastructure for gas utilities Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing installation, maintenance, and system reliability Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of gas pipelines and related infrastructure
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required No prior experience required; however prior internship(s) and/or relevant coursework preferred Knowledge of gas pipelines is a plus Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:
$73,000 - $75,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
