In this engaging role, you will lead hands-on robotics workshops, foster creativity, and develop critical thinking skills through innovative VEX Robotics programs. Your enthusiasm and expertise will empower students to build, program, and compete with VEX robots, inspiring the next generation of engineers and problem-solvers. Duties Design and deliver engaging VEX Robotics lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels Guide students through the process of building, programming, and testing robots using VEX kits Facilitate teamwork, encourage problem-solving, and promote a collaborative learning environment Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring safety and positive behavior among students Prepare instructional materials, demonstrations, and assessments to support student learning Provide mentorship during robotics competitions and events to help students showcase their projects Communicate progress and achievements to parents, school staff, or program coordinators as needed Requirements Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in STEM or robotics-related subjects Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students actively Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate learners Prior experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting Knowledge of VEX Robotics systems, programming languages , and basic engineering principles is preferred Ability to adapt lessons for different age groups and skill levels while maintaining a lively learning atmosphere Passion for STEM education and inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math

$24.96 - $30.06 per hour
