Job Description
Company Description Wendy builds the developer platform for Physical AI and edge robotics. WendyOS helps teams build, deploy, and debug applications on robotics and edge devices including NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and Linux SBCs. Role Description We are hiring a Junior Robotics Demo Engineer to work on-site at our San Francisco office at 2001 Union Street. You will help build enterprise and student demos that show WendyOS in real-world robotics workflows. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes making demos work end to end: Python code, deployment, robot setup, troubleshooting, and clear walkthroughs for customers, students, and community members. Responsibilities You will build and maintain demos for enterprise teams, student groups, and events. You will write Python and deploy applications to robots, drones, and edge devices. You will work with ROS2, robotic cars, robotic arms, humanoid robots such as AGIBOT and Unitree, robotic dogs, and custom drones. You will prepare demos in the office, test hardware, document setup steps, and improve reliability. You will attend lu.ma events to support demos, meet developers, and gather product feedback. You will work closely with engineering on WendyOS examples, templates, and deployment workflows. What we are looking for Strong Python skills. Experience deploying at least a few applications, projects, or demos. Comfort working on-site full time at 2001 Union Street in San Francisco. Excitement to learn robotics hardware, ROS2, edge devices, and physical AI systems. A practical debugging mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with students, developers, and enterprise users. This is an entry-level junior role, but it is hands-on. The best candidate has built real projects, can get applications running, and wants to spend time around robots, events, and users.
