Amazon co-ops across all seasons are full-time positions, and co-ops should expect to work in office, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Co-ops should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their co-op concludes. The robotics co-ops join dates, length, location, and prospective team will be finalized at the time of any applicable job offers. In your application, you will be able to provide your preference of start dates, co-op duration, and location. While your preference will be taken into consideration, we cannot guarantee that we can meet your selection based on several factors including but not limited to the co-op availability and business needs of this role. • Completing project tasks with a team of other co-ops and Amazon engineers
• Utilizing Amazon engineering tools and processes
• Prototyping and testing concepts or features
• Tracking progress of task deliverables
• Developing and maintaining design documentation

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Currently working towards Bachelor's, Master's, or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM fields
• Knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals in either one or more of mechanical, electrical, hardware test, hardware reliability, quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, or similar
• Experience with hardware design, development, and testing
• Experience with applicable hardware physical tools, digital tools, and methods (e.g. 3D CAD)Preferred Qualifications
• Hardware Development Engineers should have strong analytic and problem-solving skills
