Program Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced STEAM Robotics Instructor to lead an engaging summer camp program for middle school students. The primary objective of this program is for students to design, build, and operate functional beginner-level robots by the end of the session. This is a hands-on, project-based learning experience focused on creativity, problem solving, and foundational engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate a structured robotics curriculum for middle school participants Guide students through the process of designing, building, and testing basic robotic systems Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment Break down complex concepts into age-appropriate instruction Manage materials, tools, and setup for each session Ensure all students successfully complete a working robotic project by program end Maintain classroom management and uphold safety standards Communicate progress and any needs with program leadership
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in robotics, STEAM education, engineering, or a related field Proven experience leading or supporting a hands-on robotics or similar technical project with youth Ability to demonstrate past projects or programs similar to this role Strong classroom management and youth engagement skills Experience working with middle school age groups preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full summer schedule
Preferred Skills:
Experience with beginner robotics kits (LEGO Robotics, VEX, Arduino, or similar) Background in coding, engineering, or technology education Strong problem solving and instructional skills Ability to adapt lessons to different learning levels
Requirements:
Resume must clearly reflect relevant experience (2 to 3 years minimum) Must have completed or led a similar robotics or STEAM-based project Ability to pass background check (if required)

Pay:
