Robotics Engineer

We're deploying robotic security to make communities safer so people can thrive. Backed by Atlanta Ventures, we've become the largest robotic security company in the Southeast in under a year. We have over 50 robots sold, and we're just getting started. What You'll Do As a robotics engineer, you will take ownership of designing, prototyping, and scaling all aspects of the robot, touching both hardware and software. Our most immediate needs focus on strengthening the networking infrastructure and the hardware-software integration systems that power our robotic security. Your role will evolve from rapid prototyping to overseeing full-scale production and manufacturing, ensuring our robots operate reliably at scale. As an early-stage startup, our needs change rapidly, and we expect you to adapt when those situations arise, wear many hats, and be an ultimate team player. That said, we envision the following. Immediate We've been using almost exclusively off-the-shelf hardware to this point. In your early months, you'll work to migrate us towards more custom solutions.

Your key priorities will be:

Building out a pipeline for secure audio/video livestream integration directly to police call centers. Solving internet connectivity challenges, ensuring 100% robot uptime. Enabling AP hopping for our robot in conjunction with mesh Wifi networks. Controlling the robot via our dashboard using WebRTC.

Beyond:

Setting a long-term strategy based on business needs, customer requests, and hardware/software roadmap Working with police departments and large enterprise customers to formulate engineering requirements.
