Job Description

$150000 - $180000 This rapidly growing company is expanding their team to reinvent automative service by leveraging advanced robotics for impactful, real-world solutions. They are looking for someone who wants to work alongside talented engineers dedicated to automating time-consuming processes using next-generation multi-axis robotic platforms. This is a full time opportunity that is onsite north of Boston, MA.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • + Extensive experience with motion planning algorithms, including RRT/RRT
  • sampling-based methods, probabilistic roadmaps, and
CHOMP/STOMP
trajectory optimization techniques + Deep familiarity with MoveIT motion planning frameworks and production systems + Strong proficiency diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware-software integration, trajectory planning, and actuator constraints + Well-versed in collision avoidance, occupancy representations, and safety-driven planning approaches + Expertise in kinematic solvers and understanding of both forward and inverse kinematics for varied manipulator types + Skilled in C++ and Python within ROS2, focusing on real-time system performance and robust software design + Experience with simulation environments for development and validation
  • Desired Skills & Experience
  • + Advanced degree in Robotics or related field + Knowledge of automotive service, industrial automation, or broader mechatronics outside of conventional robot arms + Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing, safety-rated control, and real-time trajectory implementations + Broad understanding of robotics spanning motor control systems, hardware abstraction, and firmware integration + Exposure to sensor integration, perception, reactive planning, and object detection for adaptive robotics •What You Will Be Doing•Tech Breakdown + 30% ROS2 and MoveIt frameworks + 30% Kinematic modeling and motion planning tools + 20% Hardware integration and real-time system development + 20% Collision detection and avoidance systems Daily Responsibilities + 80% Hands On + 10% Management Duties + 10% Team Collaboration •The Offer•You will receive the following benefits: + Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance + PTO + 401k Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
