Job Description

Are you the engineer who brings machines to life? Do you enjoy turning a customer's I/O list and robot logic into an elegant control architecture, crafting HMIs that operators love, and debugging until every sequence runs flawlessly? What you'll do Ingest client-provided robot logic and I/O databases to define complete robot control configurations and network topologies Engineer and refine control designs to meet project objectives and resolve technical constraints Explore and develop new approaches in robotics controls engineering Plan and execute design verification and validation activities Design intuitive graphical user interfaces/HMIs Configure and program PLCs, robots, and related software applications Author sequential control logic and interlocks Generate clear system documentation: drawings, code comments, manuals, and training materials Provide end-user training and responsive support Conduct testing and troubleshoot issues through to resolution Handle additional duties as assigned by management What you bring Education/experience blend that delivers the required capabilities; typically: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred) ~5 years of direct field experience or equivalent Proficiency in technical problem-solving and disciplined documentation Ability to prioritize effectively and progress multiple projects concurrently Background with, or willingness to learn, key platforms:
Robots:
Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, Motoman PLCs:
RSLogix 5000, Siemens S7, TIA Portal (and related systems)
Vision:
Keyence, Cognex, Teledyne Dalsa (and comparable solutions) Role context Supervisory scope: None Key strengths: Communication, critical thinking, systems analysis, troubleshooting Work style: Detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable managing competing priorities
