Mission Design, implement, and support robust robotic control systems—combining practical engineering with clear documentation and hands-on customer training. Your impact Convert client-supplied robot logic and I/O data into end-to-end robot control configurations and network architectures Deliver control designs and targeted modifications aligned to project requirements Investigate and pioneer improved techniques in robotics controls Plan and execute design verification and validation Design HMIs/graphical interfaces that streamline operation Configure and program PLC/robot software and associated toolchains Author reliable control sequences and interlocks Produce complete system documentation for build, operation, and maintenance Lead customer training sessions and provide responsive support Perform system testing and rigorous debugging Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management What sets you up for success We welcome any combination of education and experience that proves you can excel.
Common backgrounds include:
Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred) Approximately 5 years of relevant field work or demonstrated equivalent Strong technical acumen with excellent troubleshooting and documentation habits Skill at balancing multiple priorities and advancing several projects in parallel Experience with, or readiness to learn, key technologies:
Robotics:
Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, Motoman PLCs:
RSLogix 5000, Siemens S7, TIA Portal (and other major platforms)
Vision:
Keyence, Cognex, Teledyne Dalsa (and similar systems) Team structure Supervisory responsibilities: None Professional traits Clear communicator (written and verbal) Analytical thinker with strong systems analysis skills Detail-driven troubleshooter who documents thoroughly Comfortable operating with multiple priorities and deadlines
