The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic program builder who brings strong content knowledge, innovative pedagogy, and a passion for engaging students in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

This educator will play a vital role in helping students develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and engineering design skills that are essential for thoughtful participation in an increasingly technological world. Through project-based learning and real-world problem solving, the teacher will inspire students to see technology, engineering, and robotics as creative tools for innovation, collaboration, and positive impact.

QualificationsBachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or a related fieldTeaching experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related disciplines (preferred)Knowledge of computer science frameworks and engineering design practices, including: Computing and SocietyDigital Tools and CollaborationComputing SystemsComputational Thinking and Problem SolvingProficiency with relevant technologies, robotics platforms, and industry-standard hardware and softwareStrong pedagogical skills in areas such as: Introduction to
Computer ScienceEngineering Design and RoboticsWeb and Game DesignMedia and Video ProductionTeaching Elementary and Middle SchoolersResponsibilities:
Design and implement an engaging K-8 engineering, robotics, and computer science curriculum aligned with the schools mission and valuesCreate a student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, and risk-takingIntegrate interdisciplinary connections and real-world applications across grade levelsCollaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and school-wide initiativesContribute positively to the life of the school community and participate in ongoing professional growthPerform other responsibilities as assignedEducators at World Academy are also encouraged to support and celebrate students beyond the classroom through advisory, moderating clubs or activities, and possibly attending athletic or community events.
