As a STEM Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging robotics programs that inspire and educate students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Your primary duties will include:
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Develop comprehensive robotics curricula that align with STEM education standards and cater to various age groups and skill levels.
Instruction:
Deliver hands-on training sessions to students, guiding them through the process of building, programming, and operating robots using industry-standard software and hardware.
Classroom Management:
Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to collaborate, problem-solve, and think critically.
Assessment and Feedback:
Assess student progress regularly through practical projects, assignments, and assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their robotics skills.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to students during robotics projects, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, or programming logic.
Mentorship:
Serve as a mentor to students, providing guidance and encouragement as they explore the exciting world of robotics and STEM fields.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to promote robotics education and integrate robotics programs into the broader curriculum.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest developments in robotics technology, educational trends, and STEM pedagogy through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Robotics, Electronics and electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Education. Previous experience working with robotics, either in educational settings or industry. Proficiency in any programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as block based coding ,Python, C++, or Java. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Passion for STEM education and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
Pay:
$15.00 - $35.00 per hour
