Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student to assist with research, software development, laboratory, and course development activities in robotics, AI, XR, and engineering education projects.
Career Readiness Competencies :
Take initiative to learn new tools, systems, or procedures on the job. Adjust tone and approach based on audience (e.g., peers vs. supervisors). Use campus tools and systems effectively to complete job tasks. Learn new software or digital platforms as needed for your role. Stay aware of basic cybersecurity and data privacy practices. Assist with robotics experiments, software development, XR/AI integration, simulation, and prototype development. Support course and instructional material development, including laboratory exercises and technical documentation. Contribute to research publications, grant proposals, data collection, and project-related activities. Provide laboratory setup, equipment maintenance, and general administrative support as needed Strong programming and software development skills in languages such as Python, C++, C#, etc. Familiarity with robotics software and development environments (ROS/ROS2), simulation tools, etc. Quick learner with excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This position is expected to require up to 28 hours of work per week. Students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience with advanced technologies such as robotics, XR, AI, and applied research are strongly encouraged to apply.
