Job Description

About the Role As a Robotics Systems Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical lead for our advanced automated material handling environments. You will optimize system uptime, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and act as the critical bridge between complex robotic hardware and operational performance goals. Responsibilities Oversee the real-time health and performance of automated robotic vehicles, vertical lifts, and integrated adapter systems. Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical and software-related system failures to minimize operational downtime. Translate technical system data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams and site stakeholders. Execute root-cause analysis on recurring issues to drive long-term reliability and process standardization. Provide hands-on training and technical mentorship to site operators regarding warehouse management systems and robotic hardware. Maintain rigorous compliance with safety protocols, including LOTO and fall protection, within high-density automation environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and implement system upgrades that enhance overall throughput. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems. Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens) and industrial robotics (ABB). Technical fluency in SQL, Linux, and Python for system diagnostics. Ability to perform physical tasks in industrial environments, including working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced logistics or manufacturing environments. Strong background in electromechanical assembly and field service engineering. Proven track record of managing technical escalations and cross-functional project execution.
