Job Description
Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design, programming, and integration of industrial robotic systems. This role is responsible for delivering robust automation solutions, optimizing system performance, and supporting installation, startup, and troubleshooting efforts in dynamic manufacturing environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and integrate industrial robotic systems for automated production environmentsDevelop and implement electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and system architecturesConfigure and optimize drives, motion control systems, sensors, and I/O networksLead robot system commissioning, including startup, tuning, and validation activitiesEnsure compliance with robot safety standards and implement safety systems and risk mitigation strategiesAnalyze system performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and throughputDiagnose and resolve technical issues through hands-on field troubleshooting and root cause analysisCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customers to deliver high-quality automation solutionsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and techniciansRequired QualificationsProven experience with industrial robot programming and system integration (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.)Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and controls architectureExperience with motion control systems, servo drives, sensors, and industrial I/O systemsDemonstrated expertise in robot safety integration and compliance with applicable standardsHands-on experience with system startup, tuning, and field troubleshootingAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with PLC programming and HMI developmentKnowledge of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.)Familiarity with vision systems and advanced robotics applicationsPrior experience in a customer-facing or field engineering roleBenefitsGenerous employer contribution to the Employee portion of medical insurance (75+%).Dental, Vision, and Gap insurance offered.
