Job Description

Build Real Robots. Not Just Code. DAC Robotics is looking for a Fanuc Robot Programmer / Robotics Engineer who enjoys building real automation systems — not just writing code in isolation. Our engineers work directly on the design, programming, integration, and deployment of robotic systems used in production environments across multiple industries. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building machines, solving real-world problems, and seeing their work running on the factory floor. Travel for system commissioning and support is typically 10-20% . Ideal backgrounds include engineers from robotics integrators, automation companies, or machine builders. What You'll Work On You will program and integrate Fanuc robots in automation systems that range from traditional manufacturing automation to advanced robotic platforms incorporating modern sensing and software technologies. Projects vary widely and may include: Robotic machine tending systems Conveyor and material handling automation Vision-guided robotic systems Robotic assembly and processing systems High-throughput production automation platforms Many systems integrate technologies such as: Machine vision and 3D cameras LiDAR and advanced sensing PLC-controlled automation systems Linux-based software environments Python-based software and automation tools What You'll Do Program, test, and deploy Fanuc robots Develop structured and maintainable robot programming architecture Perform Roboguide offline simulation and validation Integrate robots with PLCs and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, etc.) Implement and tune Fanuc iRVision Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers for full system integration Participate in End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) design and refinement Support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades Provide customer training and technical support Document programming standards and system functionality What We're Looking For 2+ years of Fanuc robot programming experience (5+ preferred) Experience integrating robots with PLC-controlled automation systems Familiarity with Roboguide simulation Strong troubleshooting and system-integration skills Ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines Comfortable working directly with customers during system installation U.S. citizenship required (ITAR regulations) Bonus Experience (Nice to Have) Fanuc iRVision PLC programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens) Machine vision (Cognex, Keyence) Python or Linux environments Industrial networking SolidWorks or mechanical design experience About DAC Robotics DAC Robotics is a vertically integrated automation and robotics engineering company where systems are designed, fabricated, assembled, programmed, and tested in-house.
