Job DescriptionAs an Automation Engineer, you will spearhead the development, optimization, and upkeep of our advanced robotic automation systems. Working alongside a diverse team of experts, your role will be crucial in implementing cutting-edge robotic technologies that enhance operational efficiency, boost productivity, and elevate process quality. Your contributions will be pivotal in our commitment to technological advancement and automation.
Fine-tune systems for peak performance, precision, and cost-efficiency.
Develop, test, and refine software for diverse robotic applications.
Construct interfaces and communication protocols to integrate with other machinery/instruments and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Diagnose and remedy any integration-related complications.
User Interface (UI)
Interpret data and refine design and controls based on feedback.
OtherAdditional duties as assigned Role will require travel up to 30% of the time.
Minimum of 7 years of significant professional experience in the robotics arena, with a documented track record of leadership and successful project completion.
Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Key Responsibilities:
Robotic Automation System Design and Development:
Craft, refine, and manage robotic systems, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software elements.Fine-tune systems for peak performance, precision, and cost-efficiency.
Programming and Control:
Devise and enact control algorithms for robotic handling and trajectory planning.Develop, test, and refine software for diverse robotic applications.
System Integration:
Facilitate the smooth incorporation of robotic systems within commercial laboratory settings.Construct interfaces and communication protocols to integrate with other machinery/instruments and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Diagnose and remedy any integration-related complications.
User Interface (UI)
Design:
Develop intuitive User Interfaces (UI) that streamline process management for automated systems.Testing and Validation:
Perform exhaustive testing and validation of robotic systems to certify compliance with performance, quality, and safety benchmarks.Interpret data and refine design and controls based on feedback.
Documentation:
Generate and sustain comprehensive technical documentation, such as design outlines, operational manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for robotic systems.OtherAdditional duties as assigned Role will require travel up to 30% of the time.
QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline.Minimum of 7 years of significant professional experience in the robotics arena, with a documented track record of leadership and successful project completion.

Robotics Expertise:
Robust understanding of robotics fundamentals, dynamics, and control mechanisms.Experience:
At least 5+ years of Automation Engineering experience with mechanical aptitude and ability to work hands on with tools and robotsTechnical Proficiency:
Skilled in programming languages like C++, Python, and familiar with ROS.Experience with Program Logic Control (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) programming is desirable.Problem-Solving Prowess:
Adept at identifying and resolving intricate technical problems.Communication Skills:
Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.Safety Knowledge:
Acquaintance with safety protocols and best practices concerning robotic systems.Adaptability:
