SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER- GREATER SEATTLE AREA

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSME is a plus. 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years of experience designing complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplined team. Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations. Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Background checks are required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in electro-mechanical motion control as applied to prototype test fixtures. Proficiency with general ME CAD tools, generatingBOM, I/O
lists, andP&IDs:
SolidWorks or equivalent. Adept at generating test plans, running tests, collecting data and generating customer proposals. Proficiency in Python required. Good understanding of basic mechanics and machine design. Experience with automation or product development processes from concept to production. Experience with designing sheet metal, 3D printed, and machined parts.RESPONSIBILITIES
Design complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Create and manage technical documentation (e.g., BOMs, I/O lists, P&IDs). Develop Automation mechanical design solutions using advanced engineering principles and CAD tools. Support project lifecycle from conceptual design through production implementation.
