ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but not limited to) : Proficient in troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulic, 24VDC control circuits and mechanical fixtures. Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of complex automated equipment including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control circuits. Fully understand and troubleshoot motor control circuits, 24VDC up to 480VDC three phase power distribution and motors. Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
  • Mitsubishi/Omron/Allen Bradley Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining and/or programming robotic systems desirable.
Proficient in programming and maintaining industrial vision systems. Program and troubleshoot HMIs Lead technical aspects of capital project for innovation/automation solutions Act as a role model for all Associates and adhere to the company core values Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Respect for the Individual by promoting harmony and consensus; co-operates and works with others in the pursuit of team goals and maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Building Trust by being reliable and consistent. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
(EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS) Required Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering related field or 2 Year Technical School in Engineering related field or 5+ years experience with industrial automation equipment Engineering/maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs preferred Experience with maintaining or programming robotics (Yaskawa, Fanuc, Motoman preferred) Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills Ability to interact professionally within the company and with the customer Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office programs Experience in repair and analysis of mechanical and electronic systems Experience with industrial vision system applications (Cognex and Keyence a plus) Hands on maintenance and troubleshooting experience with knowledge of all aspects of machine troubleshooting, process and machine improvements and installation of new equipment.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility
