This is a dedicated career path for technicians who love fixing complex hardware not a stepping stone to engineering.

The Role Live Troubleshooting:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues for robots operating 24/7.

Preventative Maintenance:

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble electromechanical systems to ensure 100% uptime.

Engineering Loop:

Partner with engineers to improve robot reliability based on real-world failure data.

Diagnostics:

Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and Linux CLI to identify root causes.

Requirements Experience:

2+ years as a technician (Robotics, Automotive, AV, Drones, or Data Centers).

Technical Skills:

Electrical debugging (DC circuits, schematics) and mechanical assembly.

Software:

Proficiency with Linux/Command Line (SSH, checking logs).

Mindset:

A systematic debugger who enjoys independent problem-solving.

Logistics:

Full-time onsite in San Francisco; willingness to travel to customer sites is a plus.
