Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Robotics Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for the uptime, calibration, and optimization of complex automated material handling systems. You will play a key role in maximizing facility throughput by diagnosing electro-mechanical issues and ensuring our robotic fleet operates at peak performance. Responsibilities Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on automated storage, retrieval systems, and robotic vehicles to ensure continuous operational flow. Diagnose and resolve complex system anomalies using schematics, wiring diagrams, and advanced diagnostic test equipment. Calibrate, adjust, and repair robotic arms and automated adapters to maintain precision and efficiency. Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and labor hours accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Communicate technical status updates and estimated repair timelines to operations teams to minimize production downtime. Perform minor fabrication and utility adjustments, including machining, sensor alignment, and structural modifications. Maintain a safe, organized workspace by adhering to 5S standards and rigorous safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO). Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining mechanical automation systems. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and reading electro-mechanical diagrams. Ability to work independently in restrictive, high-elevation environments while utilizing fall protection equipment. Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks in varying temperature conditions. Preferred Skills Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, automation, or manufacturing technology. Prior experience operating and recovering automated robotic vehicle fleets. Strong background in industrial safety compliance and PPE usage.
