Robot Technicians set robotic welding machines to provide proper welding of component parts. Additionally, they read and interpret prints to program robotic welding systems. Ability to work overtime as needed, is necessary, must be a dependable self-starter with a high attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. Education, Experience, Skills:
Education Trade school or equivalent experience preferred Experience Manufacturing experience Welding experience preferred Skills Preferred Utilize measuring instruments and weld gauges Understand weld specifications and be able to read and interpret prints
Welder Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand frequently
Responsibilities:
Set-up all robotic welding machines Set-up welding parameters on robotic welding machine Able to write and alter robotic welder programs Understand and utilize fixtures, equipment, and tooling associated with robotic welding process Develop weld process on new parts Read and interpret prints Utilize measuring instruments and gages to perform measurements accurately Understand quality and appearance requirements for welded parts Have advanced knowledge of materials that are welded Will operate equipment and tools with concern for safety Other duties as specified
