Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) - Bondurant, IA#26-03207 Matteson, IL On-site Direct Placement Starts 3/09/2026 Job Description New Journey, a Genesis10pany, is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) for a full time position with our client. Pay range: $29.59 per hour, plus a $1.00/hour night differential This position is responsible for Electrical and Mechanical tasks on automated packaging and distribution equipment, utilizing working knowledge to troubleshoot and repair Control Circuits, Electrical Distribution Systems, and entive / Predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Maintain and troubleshoot all automated conveyor systems in the building Lead and audit preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance procedures Perform PLC Control level issue diagnosis and maintenance (en Bradley) Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, controlponents, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc Utilize blues and schematics to perform maintenance safely and efficiently Collaborate and build relationships with all levels in the organization

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures 1 years of metal and wood fabrication 1 years of blue and electrical schematic reading 1 year of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles Procedure-based maintenance experience (PM) Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly Desired skills: Associate or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field 2 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards Project Management experience Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Knowledge ofputer networking systems and infrastructure Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Low voltage signal tracing and troubleshooting of logical devices Basic ability to use Linuxmand line interface Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey employees will be considered for this position.
