Job Title:
Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors, while also adept at performing preventative maintenance routines and managing work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Responsibilities Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets. Manage work orders within a CMMS. Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment. Track and store inventory, including spare parts. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls. 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations. Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college in the Mechanical or Electrical field. 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field. 2+ years of experience working with PLC based controls systems. Work Environment Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed, automated, and robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
