Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Paint Robot Programmer / Digital Engineering Technician to support automated paint shop operations, robotic programming, and digital engineering initiatives within a manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing 1494744 Online Robot Programming Program and troubleshoot robotic paint applications including: Sealer UBC Dampening Primer Base Clear coat systems Run production trials and adjust robot parameters for optimal performance Evaluate paint quality against engineering drawings and manufacturing standards Offline Robot Programming & Simulation Utilize simulation software to: Create offline robot programs Conduct reach studies Perform cycle time analysis Support digital engineering activities and manufacturing process improvements Quality Evaluation Evaluate paint quality using: Elco-meters Wave-scan equipment X-Rite systems Support continuous improvement and process optimization activities Documentation & Communication Create handover documentation and process snapshots for NAMC facilities Communicate effectively with engineering teams, vendors, and plant personnel Utilize Microsoft Office applications for reporting and project tracking What You Bring Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities Requirements 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience Experience programming industrial robots including: Kawasaki Fanuc Yaskawa Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications PLC programming experience including: Toyopuc Allen-Bradley Omron Experience with Digital Engineering software such as:
CATIA DELMIA
SolidWorks Inventor Additional technical certifications are a plus Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
