Intermediate Overview We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welding Technician with hands-on experience supporting automated weld systems, robotic troubleshooting, and 6‑axis teach pendant operation. The ideal candidate has practical exposure to FANUC robotics , understands the core principles of robotic welding, and can effectively optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot automated weld cells in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot FANUC robotic welding systems , including path adjustments, point modification, and TCP optimization. Adjust weld parameters, verify sensors, and perform routine fault recovery to ensure consistent and reliable cell performance. Diagnose weld quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and rework. Work with proximity sensors, photo-eyes, encoders, safety switches, and other automation components to maintain system reliability. Support robotic torch alignment, wire feed setup, weld schedule adjustments, and consumable maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance on robotic systems, mechanical assemblies, and electrical components. Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic automation documentation. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve cycle times, quality, and cell uptime. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with FANUC robots , including teach pendant operations and 6-axis robot navigation. Strong understanding of MIG welding processes , weld parameters, and robotic weld fundamentals. Knowledge with automation sensors : proximity switches, photo-eyes, encoders, safety devices, etc. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude with exposure to PM programs. Ability to interpret prints, schematics, and basic programming logic. Familiarity with robotic weld path optimization and quality improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments. Exposure to PLC logic or basic programming concepts. Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatic systems. Certifications or training in robotics, welding, or industrial automation (FANUC, AWS, etc.). Top Skills Automation

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
