Clinton Twp, MI Schedule:
55-65 hours per week Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Robotic MIG Welder to set up, program, and operate robotic welding equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on MIG welding experience in an automated environment and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate robotic MIG welding equipment Load and unload parts, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up before welding Monitor welding processes to ensure quality standards are met Inspect finished welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques Adjust welding parameters (voltage, wire feed speed, etc.) as needed Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robotic welding systems Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve welding processes and efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience (robotic/automated environment preferred) Experience with robotic welding systems (FANUC, ABB, or similar) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
