2nd Shift Robot Technician

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Robot Technician positions for a Manufacturing company in East Tawas, MI. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. !

Duties for this position include:

Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures for automated robotic equipment Conduct preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on robotic arms and fluid/paint delivery systems Monitor paint application processes and inspect finished products to ensure automotive quality standards are met Troubleshoot robotic equipment and automated production line issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues within the manufacturing process Support production operations involving PLC-controlled systems and industrial robotics equipment Compensation (USD): $18.00/hour

Schedule:

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.

Overtime:

Saturday and/or Sunday as needed Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience performing maintenance and repairs on automated equipment preferred Ability to work with industrial robotics and automated production systems Familiarity with PLC systems such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens is a plus Experience with industrial robot brands such as Fanuc, Kuka, and Yaskawa is preferred Ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineering and production teams
