Primary Responsibilities:
Program Fanuc S500 with RJ, RJ2 and RJ3 controllers. Creating new programs and modifying existing programs as needed. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on robots and related systems. Perform setup and quality functions. Work with press operators and maintenance department for cohesiveness to keep robots running effectively and efficiently. Proven ability to interact well with co-workers and promote the "Team" attitude. Previous knowledge on machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance; Design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend solutions. Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery, equipment, facilities and electrical systems in a stamping and welded assembly plant. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus up to 480 vac, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots. Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Education:
Education normally acquired through the completion of a two year degree in a related field or multiple years of on the job experience. Trade school certified as an Industrial/Electrician/Millwright or Industrial/Mechanic. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Journeyman's Card (Preferred)
Training:
1. Previous experience and/or training on robot programming required 2. Must demonstrate competency through testing and job performance after training 3. Additional on the job training will be provided as needed through a combination of a third part training course and/or internal training.
Skills:
