Robot Operator (FANUC Welding Robots)
Shifts Available:
1st & 3rd
Shift Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Robot Operator to support production using FANUC welding robots. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding systems to ensure quality, efficiency, and uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor FANUC robotic welding systems to meet production goals Inspect and verify weld quality to ensure adherence to specifications and standards Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on robotic cells and welding equipment Make basic program adjustments and touch-ups to optimize robot performance Troubleshoot robot, tooling, and weld issues to minimize downtime Load/unload parts and ensure proper fixturing and alignment Document production, quality checks, and maintenance activities Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience operating FANUC welding robots (or similar robotic systems) Strong understanding of robotic welding processes (MIG welding preferred) Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions Experience with robot touch-ups, offsets, and minor programming adjustments Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment FANUC robot certification or formal training
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production setting with exposure to welding, heat, and moving equipment Requires standing, lifting, and working around robotic machinery
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
