Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Robotic Welder is to operate robotic welding equipment to complete welding tasks on various materials and components. Working closely with the Lead or designated trainer, this role includes learning fixture setup and removal, conducting scheduled part inspections, and becoming familiar with welding department procedures and processes. The Robotic Welder ensures consistent weld quality, safe operation, and efficient workflow throughout each production run.

Monday
  • Thursday, 5:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM Hourly rate of pay: $19.25

50 per hour base rate (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Operate robotic welding equipment to complete welding tasks on various materials and components Learn fixture setup and removal procedures under the guidance of the Lead or designated trainers Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections at required intervals Complete visual checks to ensure weld quality meets specifications Record production activity by clocking in and out of production orders in NAV Gain knowledge of welding department procedures, workflow, and shop practices Communicate with Leads and Senior Robotic Welders regarding questions or quality concerns Requirements Basic math skills for inspections and part quantities Computer proficiency for job sign-in/out and navigating NAV Ability to interpret blueprints and understand inspection requirements Ability to use measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and comparators Basic mechanical ability for fixture setup and tear outs 6-12 months of relevant experience required Welding experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 100lbs occasionally Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift Use hands for press brake operation, tooling setup, and measurement tasks
