Job Description

Position Summary:
Cush Suspensions is seeking a skilled and hands-on Robotic Welding Technician to support the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems. This role plays a key part in improving productivity, quality, and safety by integrating automation and robotics into our trailer suspension manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload and maintain welding robots. Prepare assemblies for weld robots by completing short sections of welds the robots cannot reach. Support preventive maintenance and calibration of robotic systems. Follow work instructions, document work progress through the ERP system (tablet interface). Ensure all automated systems meet safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Experience in a metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment. MIG welding experience. OSHA or safety-related certifications.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Hands-on mechanical aptitude. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, welding, and noise. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs and working in tight or elevated spaces. From $20.00 per hour
