CNC Equipment Reliability Technician Kearfott Manufacturing Pine Brook, NJ Job Details $33 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Fanuc Pneumatic machine repair Electrical schematic reading and interpretation High school diploma or GED Dimensional measurements Blueprint dimension interpretation Precision measurement in machining OEM Manufacturing company experience CNC machine maintenance Electrical fault repair Full Job Description A day in the life You start your shift with a quick scan of the maintenance dashboard: a 5-axis VMC shows an intermittent spindle vibration, a lathe needs a servo parameter check, and production is ramping up for a critical aerospace build. You lock out a cell, pull covers, check backlash at the ball screw, verify spindle bearings with a dial indicator, tweak a Fanuc parameter to resolve a following error, and capture the work in the maintenance log. By mid-morning, you're calibrating a newly installed Haas, collaborating with quality on finish specs, and by afternoon you're commissioning a router, verifying pneumatics and hydraulics, and handing it back to operations on time. About Kearfott Since 1918, Kearfott Corporation has been a trusted name in aerospace and defense—designing and building precision motion-control and inertial navigation products that guide missions on sea, land, air, and in space. Our customers count on our reliability, innovation, and technical depth built over more than a century. Join a world-class team recognized globally as a full-service partner. Interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute repairs. Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures without exception. Identify reliability improvements and drive strategies to reduce downtime.
