Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Robotic Weld Cell Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating robotic welding cells to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automation technology, ensuring precision and consistency in every weld. Your expertise will contribute directly to our commitment to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement. Duties Operate robotic welding cells to produce parts according to specifications. Monitor welding processes to ensure optimal quality. Conduct routine inspections of welded components. Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and safety guards on the welding equipment Document production data, including cycle times, quality checks, and any issues encountered during shifts Skills Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with automated equipment Excellent problem-solving skills related to machining processes and equipment adjustments Inspecting welds visually and with gauges, documenting results, and escalating nonconformances. Detecting defects early to prevent rework and scrap.
