Welding Robot Technician

Primary Job Duties:

Program robots to weld new jobs on multi-arm robotic cells. Setup and maintain Fanuc robotics work centers. Set welding parameters to ensure welds meet size, quality, and location specifications. Able to read blueprints. Drive the continuous improvement of all setup programs & work cell setups. Monitor work cell production quotas on an hourly basis. Assure that ISO quality policies and procedures are being followed. Maintain a strong culture of safety and good housekeeping.

Skills/ Experience:

Solid understanding of the GMAW welding process Experience in production welding of aluminum Experience maintaining gooseneck and tool center-point calibration standards. Ability to troubleshoot weld quality issues. Highly motivated self-starter with proactive approach to attacking opportunities. Capability to be flexible with growth in a rapidly expanding business. Strong Teamwork Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Planful and organized.

Education Background:

High School Diploma or equivalent Formal FANUC coursework completed is preferred. Experience with Fronius welding machines is preferred. 3-5 years of experience writing and tracing programs on complex weldments.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
