POSITION SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, modify, and integrate robotic systems based on engineeringdocumentation (prints, illustrations, and schematics). Follow step-by-step manufacturing instructions and document all in-process checks. Install and secure robots and related equipment as specified in design documents. Operate the robot via teach pendant, load software, and define basic robot paths. Conduct product/system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging as needed. Prepare equipment for shipment and maintain tools according to procedures. Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tag-out and hazardous materialshandling. Ensure reliable attendance, professional appearance, and organized work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
1-5+ years in a related field, depending on level (R1-R3).
Education:
High school diploma required; associate degree in engineering, robotics, or equivalent experience preferred. Certifications (NETA, ETA) based on level.
Skills:
Proficiency in electrical and robotic systems, with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Skilled in interpreting schematics, using hand and power tools, and knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and MIOSHA safety standards. Basic computer and math skills, with excellent communication, self-motivation, teamwork, and organization.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, operate cranes and forklifts, and perform repetitive tasks with hand and power tools; requires good visual, hearing, and speaking abilities.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Primarily at facilities in southeastern Michigan, with occasional remote or customer site assignments; overtime as needed based on business demands
