• 6:30 PM +$1/hour shift differential Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 (attendance-based incentive) Position Summary The purpose of this position is to operate and support a collaborative robotic welding (cobot) system to produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is critical to ensuring that all parts meet precision, durability, and quality standards while maintaining efficiency and continuous workflow. What You'll Do Operate robotic/cobot welding systems to complete production parts and job orders Load, position, and secure parts in fixtures for accurate weld execution Inspect welds and finished parts for quality and specification compliance Perform weld touch-ups, rework, and defect correction as needed Adjust cobot programs within set parameters to improve weld quality and efficiency Troubleshoot welding equipment, programming issues, and production challenges Maintain proper weld settings (wire speed, voltage, gas flow) Read and follow blueprints, build sheets, and weld symbols Communicate quality issues, delays, and equipment concerns to leadership Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve processes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with setup of new parts, fixtures, and welding sequences Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train as needed What We're Looking For Previous welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience required Experience with robotic welding, cobots, or automated systems strongly preferred Working knowledge of MIG welding principles Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and measurements Experience using measuring tools (tape measures, gauges, squares, etc.) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Why Join Boatmate?
