Job Description

Job Overview Join our innovative manufacturing team as a Robot Welder Technician, where you will be at the forefront of automation and precision welding processes. In this dynamic role, you'll operate, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding systems to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate robotic welding systems using Fanuc and other robotics platforms to meet production specifications. Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on robotic welders and associated equipment to minimize downtime. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding processes. Perform root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions or quality issues, implementing corrective actions swiftly. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for tooling design, fixture setup, or process improvements. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop optimized welding procedures aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Monitor vision inspection systems and distributed control systems to verify weld quality and adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Requirements Proven experience in robot programming and operation within a manufacturing environment, preferably with Fanuc or similar robotics systems. Strong mechanical knowledge including tooling setup, machining, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and distributed control systems for automation control. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to enhance process efficiency and waste reduction. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex issues related to robotics or welding processes. Experience working with vision inspection systems and CGMP compliance standards is highly desirable. $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
