Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Deployment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be on the front lines of innovation, traveling to client sites across the country to install, configure, and deploy cutting-edge robotics systems. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems, along with a passion for robotics and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities Travel to client locations to install, test, and deploy robotic systems. Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, and integration of robotic components. Configure software and hardware settings to ensure optimal system performance. Conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve technical issues. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure successful deployments. Train end-users and client staff on system operation and basic maintenance. Document installation procedures, configurations, and client feedback. Ability to travel up to 80% of the time across the US (potential Canada and Mexico) Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems. Proven experience with robotics, automation, or industrial equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings (e.g., electrical plans, CAD layouts) and understand how mechanical and electrical systems interface (e.g., BMS, FLS). Experience working in Amazon fulfillment centers or other high-paced industrial environments is highly preferred. Strong working knowledge of field safety standards and installation best practices. Willingness to be trained and certified as a Red Badge for Amazon robotics floors and OSHA 30 safety credential. English/Spanish bilingual proficiency is a strong plus. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%), including potential projects in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Must reside within the United States.
