JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

The Robotic Welding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring robotic welding machines to produce high-quality welded components according to company specifications and safety standards. This position ensures proper machine setup, quality control, and production efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate robotic welding equipment to weld metal components Load and unload parts into welding fixtures Start and monitor robotic welding cycles Inspect welded parts to ensure quality and accuracy Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols Maintain production records and documentation Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Meet daily production and quality goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous robotic welding or manufacturing experience preferred Basic knowledge of welding processes (MIG preferred) Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges) Strong attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment:

Industrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Standing, bending, and repetitive movement required
