This role is responsible for loading and unloading robotic work cells, changing abrasive belts and buffing wheels, performing equipment setup and changeovers, and maintaining polishing compounds. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with automated manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality finished products. Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent. Required 1 year of experience as a robotics polisher or buffer. Required Ability or experience in the set-up of assigned robotics polishing or buffing machines in accordance with standard methods and procedures. Required Robotics programming experience.

Preferred Key Responsibilities:

Load and unloads multiple belting and buffing robots. Operate all the mechanical and control functions of the cells including: Installing, monitoring and replacing of abrasive belts Installing, monitoring and replacing buff wheels Initiating and downloading polishing & buffing programs, including physical changeover and setup of work cell. Basic troubleshooting and diagnosis of the programs and mechanical systems to support proper operation of work cell. Maintain liquid and solid buffing compounds Inspect each casting after belting and buffing; use a manual wheel to make corrections so that the parts are of acceptable quality to plate.
