Job Description
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Solar Design Engineer to design commercial solar (photovoltaic) systems, including roof-mount, ground mount, and carport systems. Responsibilities and Duties Perform site audits, including climbing ladders and walking on roofs Prepare and submit permit documentation to local AHJs Secure required permits and approvals Design and develop commercial solar PV systems Qualifications and Skills Minimum 2 years of solar design or electrical design experience Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software Valid driver's license required Comfortable working on rooftops and conducting field/site inspections
