Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide pre-calculations for all construction related tasks. Download as-staked and topographic data, generate contours and calculate volumes, create exhibits, and review all incoming and outgoing data to insure conformity to plans and specifications. Prepare accuracy reports to Project Manager. Prepare surveying and engineering CAD and Civil 3D files. Perform other related office duties.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Topographic maps and aerial mapping Process topography shots and aerial targets Survey calculations for construction staking, to support survey crew Coordination with field crews and processing of field data and calculations to accommodate field crews for maximum production. Survey analysis; process and analyze control. Boundary calculations; process and analyze boundaries. Research to obtain record survey documents to establish control for staking or mapping projects. Prepare exhibits and spreadsheets to show the results of our field surveying. Prepare corner record documents and ALTA survey maps.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
High school graduate. Has either some college or trade school background. Survey experience.
Skills/Job Knowledge:
Understanding of software and processing capabilities of survey equipment (Trimble, etc.). Understanding of solid geometry and trigonometry.
Computer Skills:
