SURVEY
CAD TECHNICIAN I POSITION DESCRIPTION
Engineering Service Company (ESC) is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Survey CAD Technician I with experience in land surveying and drafting to work in our Aurora, Colorado office. The day-to-day technical tasks associated with this position may include, but may not be limited to, the following: Prepare complete, accurate, and well-organized drawings. Collaborate with and communicate effectively with the project team. Maintain, archive, and manage project files in accordance with established procedures. Set up projects in CAD and prepare a variety of survey deliverables (e.g., ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys with topography, boundary layouts, plats, etc.). Complete CAD production tasks within established schedules and deadlines. Learn and effectively utilize new or updated software applications as needed. The physical and mental demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position, with reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities. This position is primarily office-based and typically performed while seated at a desk or table, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 30 lbs. Employees regularly are required to walk, stand, or sit; communicate in person and by telephone; use hands to operate standard computer and field/office equipment; and perform detailed work requiring reading, analysis, problem-solving, and effective interaction with others.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma (or equivalent) Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (CIVIL3D) software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (specifically Xcel and Word).
COMPENSATION
This is a non-exempt, full-time position. The expected salary ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
