Hahn Surveying Group is the commercial and residential specialist when it comes to Land Surveying. Hahn Surveying Group was established in 1976 and has now been surveying land in the central Indiana area for over 4 decades, with almost a century of Surveying experience. We provide quality land surveying services for both residential and commercial clients that meet or beat our clients timelines and expectations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Surveying Field Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn or expand their skills in surveying.
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting field surveys for Real Estate Purchases. Operate and maintain Survey Location Report equipment (i.e. tapes, metal detectors, etc.) Collect accurate field data and perform measurements Work closely with other field coordinator and office drafting staff to complete jobs by their specific closing date. Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good condition
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or degree in surveying/engineering a plus) Prior surveying or construction experience preferred but not required (we are willing to train) Ability to read and understand plans, maps, and drawings Strong math skills and attention to detail Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license with a clean record
