Job Summary We're seeking a skilled Land Surveying Technician to support our survey department with drafting, data processing, and field-to-finish workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey , and be comfortable interpreting field data and producing accurate survey deliverables. You'll work closely with survey crews and project managers on boundary, ALTA, topographic, and construction layout projects throughout the region. Responsibilities:
Process field data and generate survey deliverables using Civil 3D and Carlson Survey Draft existing conditions, boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and as-built plans Interpret field notes, data collector files, and survey control Manage digital terrain models (DTMs), surfaces, and linework Assist in deed and record research for boundary resolution Support field crews with stakeout calculations and base mapping Maintain project file organization and CAD standards Collaborate with engineers, crew chiefs, and PMs to ensure quality and accuracy Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in land surveying or drafting Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey required Familiarity with survey field procedures and terminology Strong understanding of coordinate geometry (COGO), field-to-finish workflows, and surface modeling Ability to read and interpret plans, deeds, plats, and construction drawings Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Associate's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Schedule:
