Mission-Critical Photogrammetry Support Our office is seeking a skilled photogrammetrist to directly support mission-critical operions for the Department of Defense and U.S. Combant Commands. We are hiring a Photogrammetrist to extract critical 3D da for global mapping and precision targeting operions. This office directly supports forward-deployed units, and your technical output will impact operions immediely. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to SCI. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examinion in order to maintain access to Top Secret informion. All employees are subject to a periodic examinion on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examinion may result in denial of access to Top Secret informion, SAP, or unescorted access to SCIFs. Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Failure to comply may negively impact continued access to Top Secret informion, Informion Systems, SAP, or unescorted access to SCIFs. NGA utilizes all processes and procedures of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Non-executive NGA employees are assigned to five distinct pay bands based on the type and scope of work performed. The employee's base salary is established within their assigned pay band based on their unique qualificions. A performance pay process is conducted each year to determine a potential base pay salary increase and/or bonus. An employee's annual performance evaluion is a key factor in the performance pay process. This position is a DCIPS position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandory Qualificion Criteria to include educion (if required). Experience communicing through written, visual, and spoken reports and briefings.
2. Experience with using GEOINT Analysis or Photogrammetry-reled exploition software such as, but not limited to, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, QT Modeler, Active Earthscape, or ERDAS Imagine, to analyze or review geospial da.
3. Experience in photogrammetry (to include but limited to elevion, triangulion, remote-sensing, image science, triangulion, and/or orthorectificion) and/or reled geospial sciences core competencies (to include but not limited to surveying, GIS, geodesy and mapping) to support precise imagery generion.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
A.
Educion:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Cartography or a major th included, or was supplemented by, least 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework in Cartography and/or directly reled Sciences and reled Mhemics. Coursework may include Astronomy, Cartography, Computer Science, Geodesy, Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Land Surveying, Photogrammetry, Physical and Geological Oceanography, Physical Geography, Remote Sensing, or a reled discipline. The 30 semester (45 quarter) hours must have included least 6 semester (9 quarter), but not more than 15 (22 quarter), hours of college level non-business mhemics or stistics (i.e., college level algebra, trigonometry, calculus, or scientific mhemics or stistics requiring equivalent college-level courses as prerequisites).
Combinion of Educion and Experience:
A minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework as listed in option A, plus experience in the Cartographic field th includes the applicion of mensurion techniques, or a reled area th demonstres the ability to successfully perform the duties associed with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candides should show th their combinion of educion and experience totals 4 years.
