MWNE.com and True-Environmental.com to discover the full scope of our capabilities. We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Junior Hybrid Survey Technician to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience by splitting time between field operations and office-based data processing . The ideal candidate is a proactive learner who enjoys working outdoors but also possesses the technical aptitude to translate field data into precise digital models. This position serves as a critical link in our project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity from the ground to the final deliverable. The pay for this role will be $24/hr-$25/hr based on experience. Key Responsibilities Field Operations (approx. 50%) Assist Senior Surveyors in performing boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys. Operate, transport, and maintain precision equipment. Clear brush, drive stakes, and accurately document field notes and sketches. Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working in various environments (construction sites, wooded areas, urban centers). Office & Data Processing (approx. 50%) Download and organize raw data from field collectors. Assist in the preparation of survey plats and base maps using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation . Perform basic survey calculations and data verification. Maintain digital project folders and assist in preparing deliverables for clients.
Required Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; coursework in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or Geography is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word). Familiarity with CAD software is highly preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
Physical Capability:
Ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain, carry up to 50 lbs of equipment, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Licensing:
Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Attention to

Precision is the core of our business; you must be meticulous in recording measurements and notes.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating with field crews and office engineers.
Work Ethic:
Punctuality and a "team-first" attitude are essential.

Comfortable transitioning between a physical outdoor environment and a focused office setting.
