Survey Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated full-time Survey Technician to support a variety of survey projects in the field and office. This role involves assisting with data collection, processing survey information, and preparing survey-related drawings and deliverables. The position offers exposure to diverse projects across local and regional assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with field data collection for topographic, as-built, and utility surveys Operate and maintain survey equipment Process field data and assist with CAD drafting Perform basic quality checks on survey data and drawings Conduct deed research, plotting, and map checks as needed Coordinate with project managers and field crews

Requirements:

High School diploma required Valid driver's license Experience using Trimble, Geomax, or similar survey equipment Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to walk varied terrain and lift/carry equipment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior survey field experience Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software Basic understanding of surveying principles and procedures
