Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Land Survey Technician to join our dynamic survey team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and start a rewarding career in land surveying. The ideal candidate will work closely with a skilled Crew Chief on a variety of survey projects and will have the potential for career advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with line locating and various field survey tasks Perform physical tasks such as clearing brush, digging with tools (shovels, picks), carrying and setting stakes, rebar, and other heavy equipment Support survey crew in setting up and operating a range of survey equipment Operate surveying instruments including measuring tapes, level rods, prism poles, and GNSS devices Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of survey equipment and vehicles Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of land surveying principles Clean motor vehicle record and a valid driver's license Willingness to travel overnight within Oklahoma, with weekends off Ability to work overtime and weekends when required Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Physical stamina to stand, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions for extended periods Ability to navigate uneven terrain safely Must pass a DOT-required drug test
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in land surveying is a plus but not required High School Diploma or equivalent is required
