This role is ideal for professionals with experience in survey drafting, boundary analysis, and processing field survey data who thrive in a fast-paced technical environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction staking, easement, and as-built surveys. Process raw field data collected from GPS, total stations, and level runs. Perform boundary analysis, closure calculations, and record research under the supervision of a licensed surveyor. Prepare legal descriptions, survey exhibits, plats, and municipal submittal documents. Coordinate with field crews to resolve discrepancies and verify survey intent. Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Maintain CAD standards, templates, and organized digital project files. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in survey drafting or survey data processing preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD for survey drafting. Experience with Carlson Survey software. Strong understanding of land surveying principles and survey calculations. Ability to interpret plats, legal descriptions, title reports, and survey records. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Nice to Have Familiarity with
ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Survey standards. Experience preparing plats for municipal or county approvals. Educational background in surveying, civil engineering technology, drafting, or related fields.
